Last weekend, Liam Everts unfortunately got seriously injured during the MX2 Grand Prix in China.
As selected spare rider I take my role to defend the honour of Team Belgium against the other strong nations.
I will ride the Factory Yamaha 450FM in the OPEN class. There were rumours that I would turn back to my MX2 Yamaha but I like to ride the 450 too much.
Together with Lucas Coenen on Husqvarna in the MXGP – Sacha Coenen on KTM in MX2 we will do everything possible on October 6th in Matterley Basin, Great Britain.
