Quentin Prugnieres in the top ten in GP MX2 in Switzerland

Quentin Prugnieres of F&H Racing has finished in the top ten in the seventeenth round of the MX2 World Championship in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. Prugnieres managed to finish ninth and tenth in the motos and this brought him a ninth place in the day’s classification.

On Saturday, the conditions were good in Frauenfeld. Warm temperatures made the track hard and dry. Prugnieres showed in time practice that he felt at home on the track and managed to set the ninth fastest time. In the qualifying heat, he had to come back from far. He only came out of the first lap in twenty-first place but came back well during the heat. He managed to get a thirteenth place out of it and was ready to go for it on Sunday.

The conditions were completely different on Sunday. Due to a lot of rain, the track had turned into a slippery, muddy track. When the gate dropped in the first moto, Prugnieres came out of the first lap in sixteenth place. At a high pace, he managed to gain places and worked his way back up to tenth place. He managed to hold on to this throughout the race and in the closing stages he moved up another position and managed to cross the finish line in a good ninth place.

He also performed well in the second moto. Prugnieres was riding a consistent race and was around tenth place throughout the race. He crossed the finish line in tenth place and secured a ninth place in the day’s classification. In the world championship standings he sits in twelfth position.

In less than two weeks, the championship will continue in Turkey.
