Jeffrey Herlings has won the opening moto of the MXGP class in Loket. Herlings passed Tim Gajser and Jorge Prado in the beginning and took over the lead. After that he ran away from the rest of the field and won ahead of Prado and Gajser. Jeremy Seewer and Calvin Vlaanderen were rounding out the top five.
