We raced at the Circuito Municipal de Motocross Jorge Prado in Lugo, Spain, for the sixth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship and it was INSANE. Spurred on by a massive crowd that were not shy of showing their support for their favourite riders, through the use of smoke flares, air horns, and chainless chain saws, the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP and MX2 riders gave it everything they had.
While De Baets Yamaha Supported WMX team’s Lotte van Drunen WON her second consecutive Grand Prix and extended her lead in the Women’s Motocross World Championship, it was not all rainbows and butterflies for Thibault Benistant and Calvin Vlaanderen who both CRASHED in their races.
