The penultimate race of the AMA Supercross Championship was won by Jett Lawrence and Jo Shimoda.
In the 450 class, Jett Lawrence won the final ahead of his brother Hunter Lawrence and Jason Anderson finished third. Justin Barcia and Cooper Webb finished fourth and fifth. Lawrence’s victory means he will start next weekend with a 20-point lead over Webb in the final race in Salt Lake City.
In the 250 class we saw Jo Shimoda’s first win of the season. Levi Kitchen finished second ahead of RJ Hampshire. Both riders are now equal on points for the final in Salt Lake City, which will make it exciting.
