The German Tom Koch will have to miss the next three races of the MXGP world championship. Koch crashed at the Trentino Grand Prix and broke three lumbar vertebrae.
Koch did not know this yet when he started the first race of the ADAC Masters Series in Furstlich Drehna a week later, but he did experience a lot of pain. As a result, he decided to go to the doctor after the race, who diagnosed the broken lumbar vertebrae.
To minimize the damage in the ADAC Masters championship, he also rode in Dreetz last weekend, but again he was in a lot of pain. As a result, he has decided to take a rest now and will not travel to the Grand Prix’s of Portugal, Spain and France.
