Yoshitaka Atsuta en-route

It has been organised for weeks, and until the team could be sure everything came together this release was on hold, but it has now been confirmed. The Japanese Factory Suzuki rider, Yoshi Atsuta, is currently winging his way to the UK to ride with the Heads & All Threads Suzuki team, and is expected to land later today.

The former Japanese champion, and factory Suzuki rider, has taken a break from his home MX1 championship, where he currently sits in fourth place, to fly over the the UK and ride under the Heads & All Threads Suzuki banner alongside MX2 rider, Graeme Irwin, MX1 rider Luke Burton and Rookie, Olly Townsend, for the next three events.

Ahead of time, Suzuki Japan dispatched Atsutas factory equipment, from suspension to shifters, to exhausts, and  levers, allowing the teams manager and Irwins mechanic, Neil Prince, to prepare, tailor, and tune a 2013 Heads & All Threads Suzuki RM-Z450 to the thirty-five year old Japanese champions liking for his three week long stay.

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend. The first race I did in the UK was in 2002, at Canada Heights.”

Team Manager Neil Prince;
“I’m looking forward to having former team mate Yoshi racing, and hopefully putting on a good show for the RMZ450.”
Atsuta will be racing at Canada Heights, for the Red Bull Pro Nationals in Kent, this weekend, the 3rd & 4th of August. Hawkstone Park, Shropshire for the Maxxis British Championship on the 11th of August, and the AMCA British Masters at Brookthorpe, on the 17th and 18th of August.
