Dylan Woodcock is one of the rising stars in Britain, but had a turbulent maiden campaign in the MX2 class in the Maxxis British Championship. That fact makes the news that he has parted ways with Team Green slightly less surprising, perhaps? The team made the announcement via social media earlier today.
“It is with regret that we have to announce that Dylan Woodcock and Team Green have parted ways,” they said. “Dylan has been an integral member of Team Green for many years starting with us on a KX85 and working his way through the ranks to compete in the MX2 class in 2017 on a KX250F. Race wins and championships have been no stranger to Dylan over the years and we are grateful for everything he has done for us, both on and off the bike. We wish him the very best in his next venture and and look forward to competing against him on track in 2018! Thanks Dylan,” they concluded.
There is currently no news on what machine Dylan will pilot when the new season fires into life. Current rumours suggest that he may be heading towards a Husqvarna, but that is just speculation at this stage.
