Waterman takes second in the British 2 stroke championship

Dyer & Butler Suzuki rider Josh Waterman dominated the final round of the British 2 stroke Open championship at Culham, getting 3 out of 3 wins to comfortably bag 1st overall  and 2nd overall for the championship behind Matt Moffat.

“In the first race I had a good jump but lost a bit of time in the first two corners. At the end of first lap i was 5th and pulled through to take the win on the last lap.” said a contented Josh.

“The second race I was 3rd on first lap but dropped back to 4th. I stayed there and played it clever, then fought my way through after halfway and took the lead on the last lap again.

Final race I was 3rd then pushed through to 1st but the next lap they red flagged it due to an accident, which was a real shame but for me I had still had three wins and I moved up into 2nd overall in the championship. After missing  races at Canada Heights due to shoulder injury I’m pretty happy with 2nd overall in the championship, bring on 2013!”
