KTM just uncovered their range of motocross bikes for next year, 2022, and the changes have made waves. KTM claim that the machines are closer to factory than ever before, so what better way to prove that than letting Jeffrey Herlings and Tom Vialle jump on the production bikes and spin laps? It is actually amazing that more of the manufacturers do not get their riders involved in marketing like this.
Engineered on the racetrack and developed using real championship-winning rider input, the 2022 KTM Motocross models are closer than ever to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machines. To prove the point, we took FIM MX World Champions Jeffrey Herlings and Tom Vialle to an MXGP track and asked them to put the 2022 KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 125 SX production bikes through their paces. Jeffrey Herlings and Tom Vialle tried out production 2022 KTM SX models, equipped with optional items available from the KTM PowerParts range. The best lap time was achieved by Jeffrey Herlings at the end of a 35min moto aboard a 2022 KTM 450 SX-F with no modifications in chassis or suspension hardware.
