Oss is hosting a round of the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship for the very first time, and it has already split opinions. It is certainly unique, with a significant amount of elevation, and resembles Lierop in some ways, as the track darts in and out of the woods at different points. The negative points are that it is quite tight in spots. Is it fit for the Grand Prix schedule though?
Glenn Coldenhoff, who was actually born in Oss, did a GoPro track preview on Saturday evening, which can be watched below. All of the EMX250 and EMX Open action (results are elsewhere on MX Vice) had concluded at that point – it was pretty rough in spots. The track crew did some work overnight, but it is certainly not perfectly smooth heading into MX2 free practice.
