The end of 2020 Monster Energy Supercross is near. The final round will be run in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Sunday afternoon, marking the end of the seven-race stretch at elevation. To mark this occasion, the track crew are set to unleash a unique layout. Even the start line has been moved! It is certainly a busy layout, with nine corners in total and a longer set of whoops. How about the built-up berm in the first turn? It has been a while since the first corner was not completely flat.
The layout looks like the perfect way to cap off the season and determine who will end up as the champion in each class. Eli Tomac has a 22-point lead in the premier division, so looks good to take his maiden title, but the 250SX East and West battles are far from over. Chase Sexton’s up six markers on the east coast, whilst Dylan Ferrandis sits on a seven-point advantage on the west. It’s all to play for!
