The Ricky Carmichael Academy – A special opportunity

RHL Activities are proud to announce that Ricky Carmichael will be at Fat Cats on the 11th and 12th July with his infamous University. Jamie Dobb and Ricky Carmichael have arranged the date of their University to co-inside with the arrival of the British Youth Nationals Riders. On the Friday evening RHL will have the pleasure of Ricky Carmichael in their Hospitality Marquee and we would like to invite all our British Youth Nationals Registered riders to come along and have the chance to meet the man himself

The British Youth Nationals Registered rider s can also take advantage of special offers if they would like to take part in the renowned Ricky Carmichael University, which include free guest pass and a track walk with the motocross legend Carmichael himself.

It gives us great pleasure to announce the RickyCarmichaelUniversityis back for 2013 and will be held at Fat Cat Moto-Parc on July 11th & 12th 2013, this will be on the Thursday & Friday before the British Youth Nationals.

It was a huge success last year for both the riders, guests and the instructors, so we are excited to be returning again this year! The day is for riders of all abilities and each instructor will take you through a different section of the track helping you with a particular aspect of your riding. Last year Jeff Emig helped riders with their starts, Jamie Dobb coached on fast corners, Ricky looked at techniques on fast roller sections, Jeff Stanton instructed on tight corners and Tommy Searle spent time on the area of jumps. Although it looks like Tommy will be unable to join us this year due to his GP, Ricky has been able to get this great line up of instructors for you again. A special guest instructor is to be announced in the next few weeks, so watch out for this news! The day will be run in a similar way to last year with morning and afternoon riding sessions in 5 separate areas of the track plus a lunch, Q&A session, evening BBQ (Thursday) and added to that we will have great new parts to the day where you can learn about different aspects of racing, from bike set up to training and nutritional tips. One of the highlights for everyone involved last year was being able to hang with the guys while sharing lunch and asking them lots of questions. That personal time seemed to make everyone’s day really special.

As you know from last year we truly want this to be a great event and we are all working hard to make it bigger and better than last year as our aim is to help you have an unforgettable day, that will inspire you to take your racing to the next level.
