Information

– The MX Vice team are already at Afyonkarahisar for the Turkish Grand Prix and will be covering the event extensively from this point on. There will be reports, analysis, opinions, interviews, images, podcasts, videos and much more across the various different MX Vice channels. Follow motocrossvice on Twitter and mxvice on Instagram for more from round eighteen of the FIM Motocross World Championship. MX Vice will be your hub from this point on.

– Those of us in Turkey are two hours ahead of the United Kingdom and an hour ahead of mainland Europe. Fans in Southern California are ten hours behind, which is fairly normal, and then Australian residents in Sydney are seven hours ahead. Please adjust the timetable above accordingly, as it is based on the local time.

– Seeing as the MX Vice team are at the track and have a better look at the action than what you will get on your television, there will be live updates on this website all-weekend long. Connection should not be too much of a problem so, with that in mind, load up this page now and prepare to visit it frequently across the weekend.

– There is a way to feel closer to the action and also stay sat on your couch. It is amazing! Fantasy MX Manager is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the second year in succession and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes. 24MX have put up thousands of pounds in vouchers and it is even free to enter. It is possible to enter for the first time this weekend and immediately win a prize.

– The weather this weekend will be great! Would you expect anything different in Turkey? It will be very sunny all weekend and temperatures will hover around thirty-five degrees, so it will be taxing on the riders. There are shorter breaks between some of the sessions this weekend as well.

Injury Update: Liam Everts suffers a broken thumb and will miss the start of the MX2 season

Details here.

Published

on

Disaster has struck for Liam Everts, as the Red Bull KTM star fell during training in Grevenbroich on Wednesday and suffered a fracture in his thumb. He underwent surgery on Thursday and looks set to miss the start of the MX2 World Championship on March 10 in Argentina – as per Motocrossplanet via Het Belang Van Limburg.

Having impressed last season on his way to winning three GPs and finishing fourth in the title standings, this is a huge blow for the MX2 title contender. We wish him all the best for his recovery.
