Information

– The MX Vice team are present at the Grand Prix of Asia and will be covering the event extensively from this point on. There will be reports, analysis, opinions, interviews, images, podcasts, videos and much more across all channels. All of that content is being produced straight from Semarang! Follow motocrossvice on Twitter and mxvice on Instagram for more from round thirteen of MXGP. MX Vice will be your hub from this point on.

– The time zones could make things a little tricky to follow this time around, just as they did last week. Those in the United Kingdom are six hours behind Indonesia, which means that mainland Europe are just five behind. Australian fans can enjoy some convenient coverage this time around, as Sydney are just three hours ahead. All of the MXGP fans in California are fourteen hours behind, however, so have some significant math to do in order to adjust the timetable above, which is based on local time.

– Seeing as the MX Vice team are at the track and have a better look at the action than what you will get on your television, there will be live updates all-weekend long. Connection should not be too much of a problem so, with that in mind, load up this page now and prepare to visit it frequently across the weekend.

– Do you want to feel closer to the action, but sit on your couch at the same time? Of course. Fantasy MX Manager is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the second year in succession and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes. 24MX have put up thousands of pounds in vouchers and it is even free to enter. What more could you want?

– Although some now associate Indonesia with rain, the weather will be brilliant this weekend and undoubtedly make it tough for some riders to go the distance. Temperatures will reach forty degrees on Saturday and Sunday, with humidity at fifty percent, so conditions should be perfect. Plenty of water has gone down to combat the warm weather.

Injury Update: Liam Everts suffers a broken thumb and will miss the start of the MX2 season

Details here.

Published

on

Disaster has struck for Liam Everts, as the Red Bull KTM star fell during training in Grevenbroich on Wednesday and suffered a fracture in his thumb. He underwent surgery on Thursday and looks set to miss the start of the MX2 World Championship on March 10 in Argentina – as per Motocrossplanet via Het Belang Van Limburg.

Having impressed last season on his way to winning three GPs and finishing fourth in the title standings, this is a huge blow for the MX2 title contender. We wish him all the best for his recovery.
