Jake Preston was putting in some hard testing in on the 250F at Preston Docks Friday/Saturday before making a 3 hour journey to Mildenhall on Sunday where he fought hard for a perfect scorecard of 1-1-1 for the overall in the 450 class. He then headed back homeward for Preston Docks today. The 250F just didn’t quite make it into the lead today with 2-2-3 for 2nd overall!
Dee-Jay Walker also testing at Preston Docks on his BW85 Friday/Saturday was looking great going into Sunday’s racing where he full of a 4-2-1 for 2nd overall despite bad starts. Monday seen Dee-Jay push even harder to go for the overall win with a 2-1-1.
Mike Wall had some serious travelling and riding with Preston Thursday, Apex Friday & Mildenhall Saturday/Sunday. Mike rode well all weekend in the MXY2 class at Mildenhall walking away with 15-9-9 on the Saturday with a crash in Moto 1, then to go 9-7-9 on the Sunday for a 9th overall the weekend.
Harry Cross was also in attendance for practice at Preston Docks on the Saturday and looking excellent on that 250F he’s definitely going to be mixing it up with the MX2 boys in the Masters this month.
All in all an excellent weekend for the riders & the team and roll on the month of serious preparation for the British Masters at Foxhills, Duns for the SMXF Nationals the following weekend, and the following again see’s team ride Jake head over to Sweden for the first round of the Swedish Nationals!
