The North Armagh Motorcycle and Car Club Off Road Section are delighted to announce two late entries which will spice up the racing this coming Saturday at Tandragee Motocross Park.
Popular Dublin rider, and Irish Motocross of Nations Team regular, Stuart Edmonds has entered the Premier MX1 Class on a 450TM.
This will be Stuarts first competitive ride in Ireland this year, and he is looking forward to a run around the fast spectacular Tandragee circuit, as he said to teh Club, ‘I am really looking for some good seat time, and racing is better than practicing any day’.
Joining Stuart on the gate, but in the concurrently run Premier MX2 Class, will be Championship leader, English rider, Lewis Tombs riding for the Jonathan Rea owned JAR Honda by IFS team.
Lewis is an up and coming young rider, since winning a 125cc British Youth title in 2007 and jumping straight into adult racing, he has made steady progress, including scoring a World Championship point in the British Grand Prix in 2012 in the super competitive MX2 class.
Unlike Stuart, who is very familiar with the Tandragee track, this will be Lewis’first visit to the circuit, so the ‘home boys’ will be looking to wrest the Championship lead away from the young visitor.
Racing starts at 11.00 at the circuit near Laurelvale village on Saturday 13th April.
