Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchbanks had a hard hit whilst running inside of the top ten in the first moto at the fourth round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross. It was an impressive ride, as he ended the first lap outside of the top twenty, but things came to abrupt halt when he hit the dirt with just two laps to go. Marchbanks appeared to be in some discomfort and has now released the following statement.
“I had a great day at High Point as I started the day qualifying sixth in practice,” said Marchbanks in a press release from Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki. “I pushed hard to reach the front in the first moto before I cross rutted off a jump, which ended the day for me. We’ll meet with the doctor on Monday and hope to get back on the bike as soon as possible.”
Garrett Marchbanks runs twelfth in the championship standings currently and achieved a season-best finish of sixth at the opening round a month ago.
