Jason Anderson has now taken to social media and confirmed that he is out injured. “Compound fracture to my foot in a crazy accident today,” he wrote. “A bump in the road but I will be back as fast as possible and I will race before the season is over. Sorry everyone I won’t be making it this weekend, but I will be back ASAP.”

It has been a busy day for those in the United States, as rumours about Jason Anderson have been running rampant. Anderson was practicing at Glen Helen, just as a lot of professional riders do on a Thursday, but those rumours suggest that he connected with a slower rider and crashed. Our friends at Transworld Motocross are reporting that he was carried off of the track by a member of his team, with a suspected leg injury, and then immediately exited the facility.
There have been no hard facts from the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team at this point in time, so there is a chance that Jason Anderson will be on the line at Thunder Valley. This post will be updated as soon as more information surfaces.
