There is not a lot going on in Europe currently, seeing as all of the off-season events have been cancelled. Fans can still get action of some kind from social media and steal a glance at riders in their new seats. It was not too long ago that everyone had to wait for the pre-season races to see a guy in a new set-up! How the times have changed. There is finally footage of Ivo Monticelli aboard the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team KX450-SR, as he is practicing with his teammate, Romain Febvre, in Sardinia at the moment. Monticelli will use Alpinestars gear, Alpinestars helmets, Alpinestars boots and 100% goggles this season.

Petar Petrov |
KMP Honda Racing are set to make a significant step up, and race in the FIM Motocross World Championship on a full-time basis for the first time with Petar Petrov. A lot has changed for Petrov; he will now run O’Neal gear, Sidi boots and a Bell helmet. The only thing that’ll stay the same is his Leatt goggles. Quite the combination of brands!

It was presumed that Honda 114 Motorsports would continue on with Alpinestars this year, but it has now been revealed that they will be in Fox from head-to-toe. 114 had a relationship with Fox when they first ran a team – Hunter Lawrence and Bas Vaessen were in Shift gear – but that only lasted one year.

Arminas Jasikonis |
In a fairly surprising turn of events, Arminas Jasikonis has ditched his two-digit number in favour of seven (that previously belonged to Tanel Leok). Jasikonis had previously run 77 when he was a national championship rider, so there is a connection with the number seven. Another change over at IceOne is that the team will use Just1 goggles now, instead of Scott.
