The expert group witnessed in form rider  No 10 Wayne Shimmel take all three race wins, extending his championship lead now by a considerable margin.
After a difficult start in race one , Shimmel was to find himself back in 6th place with several top riders to pass.
Undeterred by this, Shimmel wound back the throttle and preceded to carve his way forward to take the lead in lap 6 finally passing a tiring Ben Butler  before taking the victory.
Races 2 and 3 followed much the same format , but with Shimmel proving too much  for the chasing group to handle, it was his day to take the ha-trick of wins.

In the Inter 14-17 group there was another fine display of riding to entertain the cheering crowd.
This time it was the turn of rider No 17 Dan Mundell again taking all three race wins. However with Mundell not listed for this years championship, it was rider No 24 Tim  Moran who was to take maximum points through to round 4 with 3 solid second places closely followed by No 109 Ollie Harris claiming a 3rd , 4th and again a 3rd in race 3.
