Revo Talon Kawasaki are pleased to announce that Stuart Edmonds and Romain Biela will be joining Damon Strydom at the O2 Arena this Saturday. All 3 riders will be riding the superfast Kawasaki KX250f and looking to make a huge impact at this winters most anticipated event!
With Visa complications ruining Shannon Terreblanche’s Arenacross debut the team had to move quickly to attain the services of the dynamic young frenchman Romain Biela and one of the most popular riders in the British Championship Stuart Edmonds. Stuart’s recent circumstances have changed and the team was lucky to secure his services for the Arenacross series to give the Revo Talon team an international feel with Ireland, South Africa and France being represented.
It’s also a great chance for the media and fans to get a first glimpse of the team in 2013 powered by Dunlop, Rock Oil, Samco, Talon, Yoshimura, Eibach, Gaerne, Airoh, Kenny, Ducksmart, Pro Taper, Apico, Circuit, Spiral, RK, Braking and Rip n Roll.
Technical Team Manager Mark Yates said ‘Its been a frantic start for us, most teams are already established going into 2013 and we’ve had to start from scratch! To be fair though, it really has come together very well and with the level of sponsors and support we have from our partners, we are very optimistic about our chances in the Arenacross series. We have 3 very talented riders riding Saturday who will be pushing for a podium position individually but at the same time we will be hoping they do the business for us in the team overall on the night!’
Team rider Damon Strydom said ‘I’ve been working hard in the off season, spent some time riding supercross in South Africa and starting to gel with the bike. I’m looking forward to riding in London at the O2 and its great to have Stuart and Romain as team mates and I know we will be doing our best for Revo Talon Kawasaki.
French Supercross rider Romain Biela said ‘I’m thrilled to come to England where I know I will be facing strong competition from the UK riders. In France we have a strong SX serie and It will be interesting to see where we stand. I’m really happy and grateful to Mark Yates and Revo Talon Kawasaki for his trust and great support.’
The teams newest recruit Stuart Edmonds said ‘Great to have the opportunity to ride for Revo Talon Kawasaki for the Arenacross. I love to ride supercross, jumps, whoops and technical sections suit me and have done well in the past. I’m hoping to gel with the bike quickly and stick it on the box for the team! Its been a hard week with everything thats happened and I will be out to do my best, show people what i’ve got and open up some MX doors for 2013! Just like to thank Revo Talon Kawasaki for their opportunity once again and lets look forward to some good results!
