There are massive deals on 24MX each day! Do not miss out.

Press Release (KTM)

Valid for all markets

KTM recalls KTM 50 SX models of model year 2019 to the workshops of Authorized Offroad KTM Dealers in order to check the fitting of the carburetor cover.

The carburetor covers may have been assembled incorrectly during production. As the cover is also working as carburetor slide stop, this may cause the slide to get stuck. The correct fitting of the carburetor cover must therefore be checked on affected vehicles.

Customers to whom the affected motorcycles have already been delivered are being personally informed by letter and are asked to immediately contact an Authorized OffroadKTM Dealer to arrange an appointment. In addition, customers can check online in the “Service” area on the KTM website if their motorcycle is affected by the recall.

The check of the fitting of the carburetor cover takes about 15 minutes and can be carried out by Authorized Offroad KTM Dealers only – please not that Street only dealers are not able to perform this check. This check is a free-of-charge service for customers performed under warranty.

Press Release (Husqvarna)

Valid for all markets

Husqvarna Motorcycles is recalling specific numbers of TC 50 of model year 2019 for an inspection of their carburettor.

During the carburettor assembly process for MY19 TC 50 models, the carburettor covers may have been fitted incorrectly. The carburettor cover also acts as the upper throttle slide stop and this may lead to the throttle slide not operating smoothly.

To ensure that all TC 50 riders can continue enjoying maximum safety in all conditions, Husqvarna Motorcycles considers it important that the correct fitting of the carburettor cover is checked.

Customers who have already acquired a model year 2019 TC 50 are being informed by a personal letter and are asked to immediately contact an Authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles Offroad Dealer to arrange an inspection appointment.

In addition, customers can check online in the ‘Service’ area of the Husqvarna Motorcycles website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall. The check and replacement of all parts involved will be carried out at no cost to the customer and must be performed by Authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles Offroad Dealers only – Street only dealers are not able to perform this check.Further info on all Authorised Offroad Dealers can be found on Husqvarna Motorcycles’ website: www.husqvarna- motorcycles.com/dealer-search.
