The next stop for the MCF British Beach Cross Championships is the unique location of the Ramsgate beach on the Kent Coast. The event takes place on the 20th and 21st October with the Saturday being Round 5 of the series and the Sunday being Round 6 and the final round of the Championships. Riders who haven’t competed in the series need not worry as the Ramsgate Beach Cross title is a stand alone also with awards in place for this event. The event will see another fully International line up with riders from all of the UK, France, Belgium and mainland Europe battling for series points and the Ramsgate win.
Riders of all abilities are welcome with each class split into two based on their transponder timings from practice. The classes are then Pro MX, Pro Quad, National MX and National Quad. There are 3 races per day for each class, with riders also having the opportunity to enter for one day only if they wish, and subject to availability.
As well as the racing the Beach Cross event is always fantastic when it comes to the atmosphere, with the continental style Bars and Cafe’s almost lining the track.
