Information

– The Grand Prix contingent have returned to normality this week, as the MXGP of The Netherlands will take place at the relatively-new circuit of Assen. How can you follow the action? It is really easy, actually, as the full MX Vice team are at the sandy circuit. That means that we’ll provide exclusive interviews, analysis, opinions, news, photos, videos and much more throughout the weekend.

Assen-6
This is the third year that Assen has held a spot on the MXGP calendar.

– Is it possible to watch the racing? Of course! A full television guide will be available on MX Vice later today, but every moto will be on MXGP-TV over the weekend. That will be a very useful tool this weekend, as Motorsport.TV have confirmed that they won’t be showing the race as planned. If you are looking for an alternative to all of the above, our live updates may be the best option. We’ll also answer questions on that platform throughout the weekend.

– Do you want to feel closer to the action, but sit on your couch at the same time? Of course you do. Fox MX Manager, the ultimate fantasy experience, is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes each week. What is up for grabs this week? A Fox coupon code that is worth forty euros.

– It seems that the Grand Prix contingent just cannot escape the rain this year. Storms are expected all day Saturday, but there is a chance that we’ll avoid that on Sunday. Fingers crossed! We’ll update you on that throughout the weekend.

– The schedule above is based on the local time, so remember that we are one hour ahead of the United Kingdom here in The Netherlands. Fans in Australia are eight hours ahead, if you are wondering, whereas those in Florida are seven hours behind. What about if you are in Southern California? You are nine hours behind. Remember to adjust the times accordingly!

Published

Once again, our resident stats guru, Paul Pearcy, provides a breakdown of the MX2 class going into Intu Xanadu. Famed more for its access to a shopping mall and McDonald’s than actual passing, the MX2 contenders will be looking to make their mark. Last year, Simon Laengenfelder reigned supreme and was unstoppable on Sunday, with no rider able to match his pace. If you were a betting man, who would be your winner?
