The Monster Energy Supercross ‘Power Rankings’ have been updated, following the eleventh race of the series at Rice Eccles Stadium on Sunday. The results from the event did not differ too much to what occurred before the COVID-19 break, so there are no drastic changes with these rankings. Jason Anderson has climbed up significantly, undoubtedly because everyone has realised that his altitude sickness is not going to hinder him too much. Zach Osborne and Blake Baggett have both climbed up a lot too – both riders were in deep holes before the break.
The 250SX East rankings are the most interesting. Was it really that tough to pick between Chase Sexton and Shane McElrath at the top? One would think McElrath has been placed that high based on the fact that all races will be run at altitude and that YZ250F is so strong. That’s definitely a confidence booster for the last three rounds. Pierce Brown is undoubtedly the biggest mover and shaker in that 250SX East division – on the track and in these rankings too.
