F&H Kawasaki Racing MX2’s Mathys Boisrame has been rather quiet recently, but there is a reason for that. The F&H crew just confirmed that he has sustained an unspecified hand injury that will sideline him through the month of February – he is expected to return just in time for the opening round of the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship in Great Britain. That means he will miss pre-season events at Ottobiano and Hawkstone Park.
“Roan van de Moosdijk and Mikkel Haarup will enter the second round of the Italian International series this weekend, and for two of the three riders the winter preparation went perfectly. Unfortunately, Mathys Boisrame injured his hand and he will debut in the GPs.”
The 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship will mark Mathys Boisrame’s second term in the MX2 category and his first with F&H Kawasaki Racing MX2. Boisrame finished ninth in MX2 in his rookie season, with a season-best finish of third overall at the Grand Prix of Germany.
