Cyril Genot became a fan favourite this year, as he battled poor luck to claw points together in the MX2 class in the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship. Genot has made the move to a proven team and machine now – he will represent Sarholz KTM in the premier class. The deal will include the full ADAC MX Masters series and a handful of European Grands Prix.
“I’m super excited! Andre and the team have been so kind to me throughout these past few weeks. I didn’t have an easy decision to make, staying on the 250 or joining the big guys, but I’m totally ready to give it my all on the 450 SX-F! Together I’m sure we can do great things. I’m really looking forward to 2021.”
Genot ended up twenty-fifth in the final MX2 standings, with a season-best moto finish of eleventh at Lommel 3. The 2021 ADAC MX Masters will be a seven-race series that kicks off on April 18 at Dreetz.
