Update:
Website is now online at http://www.mxnationals.co.uk/
We’re pleased to announce that the new Motocross Series we mentioned last week on Twitter, has gathered some serious pace. It seems like the industry reacted to the demise of the Masters and the reduction of the Redbull, by getting together to bring a series that would support the Pro Riders and Teams but also open up an avenue for privateers to prosper. The MX Nationals team have put in place some great features to help support the riders that are the backbone of the industry.
This proposal is something that MX Vice has been pushing for over the past 2 years. Fastest 40. If you’re good enough to run in the top 40 through speed then it doesn’t matter what bike your on, what team, what anything, if you’re good enough you’re in.
We are also pleased to hear the tracks that are being talked about, Canada Heights, Culham, Fatcats, Whitby, Hawkstone, Wakes Colne, Pontrilas, Foxhills have all been mentioned. Riders will need an ACU license to ride and spectators will be charged £5 each or £10 per car with kids getting in for free.
The series will be confirming a headline sponsor in the next week. A new website for the series is currently being built but it the meantime a temp site will be posted with signup information. As you can imagine there has been a lot of interest in the series already and below is everything we have been given by the organisers.
