With the remainder of the 2013 Motocross season to run, Maxxis Kawasaki by LPE are seeking a top class MX1 rider to see their racing effort out in style.
Following an amicable split between current rider, Brad Anderson, and the team this weekend, the way is open for a top class rider to secure a high profile seat with the Kawasaki Motors UK Official motocross team.
As Team Principle, Steve James, explains, the combination of Anderson and the KX450F did not gel enough to warrant carrying on.
“It’s rare but sometimes a rider and bike reach a certain level and no more is possible. Brad has put his heart and soul into the 2013 programme and its sad to see him go. We wish him luck in his endeavours for the rest of the season”.
For Ross Burridge, Racing Coordinator for Kawasaki Motors UK, the regrettable news also presents an opportunity.
“Sure it is regrettable to lose the services of such a talented rider as Brad. Now there is a chance open for a top MX1 pilot to get a seat with an official team for the last races of the season. Steve James and his team are determined to finish on a high and we hope they secure a rider worthy of their energy, skill and commitment.”
