Ahead of the Monster Energy Supercross season, KTM held an event in California yesterday and used the occasion to unveil their teams for the new season and the new KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition. Riders from Red Bull KTM, Troy Lee Designs KTM and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM tackled the all-new test track that KTM USA had built right by their race shop.
The highly-anticipated KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition, which will be available from the end of December in the USA, features a range of special parts, like the Red Bull KTM graphics and orange anodised triple clamps. The new machine also boasts new bodywork, a revised chassis, new suspension settings with a new triple clamp design, an improved cooling system with new radiators, new exhaust, as well as a revised engine with a new, more compact cylinder head offering an improved power-delivery. There are also Red Bull KTM graphics, orange anodised triple clamps, a factory clutch cover, D.I.D rims, a factory seat and a floating front disc.
“We have been working closely with our R&D departments in both the USA and Austria to develop the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition, which will be contested by our racers in the 450 class under the homologation rule, and has some key revisions for MY2018,” said Roger DeCoster in a press release.
