Race Control: MXGP of Sweden

What is in store for the Grand Prix contingent this week? A historic circuit, Uddevalla, that features a spectacular backdrop. The Swedish Grand Prix has returned to the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar for the first time in two years, much to the delight of some within the paddock, and will play host to round sixteen of nineteen.

Information

– The full MX Vice team are in Sweden. What does that mean? You’ll be treated to exclusive interviews, reports, videos, images, opinions, news and much more. Stay tuned to this very site throughout the weekend and we won’t disappoint.

– Do you want to feel closer to the action, but sit on your couch at the same time? Of course you do! Fox MX Manager, the ultimate fantasy experience, is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes each week. It is free to play and incredibly easy to select a team, so what are you waiting for? Fox MX Manager can be played by clicking here.

– The weather forecast for this event leaves a lot to be desired, but that has become a trend recently. Torrential rain is supposed to batter the circuit all day tomorrow and then a similar forecast is in place for Sunday. That seems hard to believe, of course, but it’d be remarkable if the Grand Prix contingent manage to avoid all poor weather.

Suzuki-Racing

– How can you watch the action this weekend? A comprehensive television guide will be available later on, but MXGP-TV is a brilliant choice! That service, which costs a small fee, will cater to your needs.

– Thirteen riders will sadly miss the Grand Prix of Sweden. There is some good news, however, as Shaun Simpson will return to racing for a second time. Injury updates on all of the MXGP and MX2 riders have been chucked into this MX Vice feature.
