RHL Activities is pleased to announce that entries are now open for an exciting new addition to the off-road calendar; the RHL Beach Race at Swansea on the 2nd to 4th of March 2012.
With massive savings on advanced entries, now is the time to make sure you are down on the list to take part in the inaugural Swansea race. Multi-time Enduro World Champion and beach race winner David Knight is already confirmed to compete at Swansea along with former Grand Prix racer Tom Church, and the new venue is set to offer an exciting display of racing with the usual thrills, spills and madness of an RHL Beach event.
“I’m pleased to say that entries are now open for the RHL Beach Race at Swansea,” said director of RHL Activities, Gareth Hockey.
“We’re offering some great discounts on tickets leading up to Christmas, and those wanting to compete in the event can also save money by entering now before the first price increase in January. We’re planning a lot for the event and we’re working closely with the local businesses to offer race goers the best value possible. The Swansea race is set to become the brother of the famous RHL Beach Race at Weston-Super-Mare, which has been taking place for 28 years. With the planned incredibly long, spectacular, flat-out straight, and specially constructed dune course with obstacles as big as a small house, it’s going to be a tough test of endurance for man and machine, as well as great entertainment for spectators.
With RHL’s experience in running the historic Weston version of the race, the beach event at Swansea is expected to become one of the highlights on the off-road calendar as it retains all of the usual beach race attributes, off-track entertainment, with a fresh but brilliant venue for staging a massive new event of this kind. The beach itself really has to be seen to be appreciated; it has a good seafront infrastructure, is close to some great nightlife, and with local businesses creating great offers for the race, it’s set to be a weekend offering great value with a buzzing atmosphere.

The regs are now available on the www.rhlactivities.com website, and there’s also huge Christmas savings on tickets with a £50 discount on a family ticket for two adults and two children if bought before the 31st of December, as well as a single adult ticket discount of 50%. Tickets can also be bought through the RHL website.
