When Max Anstie withdrew from the Grand Prix of Trentino seven days ago, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team were quite confident that he would be back for Valkenswaard this weekend. That will not be the case, however, as ’99’ just is not ready.
“Things are really positive with the knee,” Anstie wrote on social media. “The team and I have been working day and night to improve all we can but, unfortunately, I’m not ready to race this weekend. The plan is to be back to 100% for Latvia in two weeks.“
Although his status for the Grand Prix of Latvia, which is set to take place in two weeks, has not been confirmed, it seems more than likely that he’ll be behind the starting line again.
