For the first time since crashing on Tuesday, Twisted Tea H.E.P Suzuki’s Max Anstie has released his thoughts on the fresh injury blow. There is a little more information about what he has done exactly and, again, this is not going to keep him out for too long.
“So bummed that I crashed on Tuesday – was in my last moto before packing up and flying to H1. Broke something little in my back but shouldn’t be too long till I’m out there racing SX. I was so ready to go racing. Your [sic] gonna have to wait a few weeks to see what I can do in SX. Keep my bike warm @HEPMotorsports. I’ll be back soon.”

Heartbreak for Twisted Tea H.E.P Suzuki’s Max Anstie, who crashed on his final day of practice before Houston 1 and will miss the opening rounds of 2021 Monster Energy Supercross. Things are not as bad as some internet rumours suggest though – do not believe everything that you read. Twisted Tea H.E.P Suzuki released the statement below to confirm what’s going on.
“Twisted Tea Suzuki regrets to inform you team racer Max Anstie of Winchester, United Kingdom will miss the opening rounds of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross series. A crash during his final practice day leading up to the Houston opener resulted in a lower back injury. Please wish Max well in his recovery and potentially see him back competing on the track as soon as Indianapolis.”
