Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing have confirmed that the reigning 450SX champion, Jason Anderson, crashed on Monday and sustained a broken arm, as well as a broken rib. There is currently no timeline on his recovery, although the manufacturer did mention that they hope to see him back before the end of the current term. The statement is below.
“@ElHombre21 sustained an injury during routine practice that left him with a broken arm. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the bike to finish out the remainder of the season.”
Following a difficult start to the season, Jason Anderson currently sits seventh in the 450SX standings, seventeen points down on the current series leader.
