It has certainly been an eventful year for Dean Ferris, who has ridden for multiple manufacturers and teams in the space of seven months. Ferris has applied his trade on many different continents in that time too! It seems as though he’s finally settled down with Recover8 Raceline KTM back in Australia though. Well, that was the case before he crashed and injured his thumb a couple of days ago. The news was announced via social media.
“Dammit! Busted thumb. Was so keen to race the @MXNationals on my Recover8 Raceline KTM. It’s been a hectic year, this will slow me down for a few weeks and allow me to relax and hit the RESET button. I’ll be chugging down loads of @Recover8_AU to heal this baby up.”
Joining the Recover8 Raceline KTM team was Dean Ferris’ first move since returning from his stint with Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing in the USA. It still remains a mystery why he returned home, unfortunately, but he did state that it was time to let go of the dream and focus on thDeae future. It seems as though he believes that Recover8 Raceline KTM is exactly where he needs to be.
