Team AMCA Great Britain riders contesting the IMBA MX1 European series face an hectic seven days with two rounds in just one week!!!.First up its Werchter in Belgium before they then go to contest the exciting Saturday night floodlit meeting at Allaire in France. After finishing 4th overall during the opening round at Hawkstone Park,Brad O’Leary is unfortunately a non-starter for both events due to a knee injury. So,next best for the Brits at present is young Jack Cox who set the fastest qualifying time at Hawkstone only for a couple of crashes which then restricted him to a 5th place finish. Also travelling to represent the AMCA in Belgium and France will be Clinton Barrs,Tye Barrs,Luke Meredith and Shaun Pearce.
It’s going to be tough for our lads tackling the very quick Belgians in their own backyard with youngster Jilani Cambre leading with series whilst fellow countryman and former Champion Vincent Collett holds 3rd!!.However last year at the same circuit,Clinton Barrs finished on the podium so a repeat result would be very welcome news!!.
