Hobbs Racing pull the plug

Whilst attempting to fill in certain pieces of the silly season puzzle, it became apparent that Hobbs Racing Kawasaki (formerly Dyer and Butler) will not return to the Maxxis British Championship paddock next year. No one from Hobbs Racing was available for comment, unfortunately, but a representative from Kawasaki confirmed the news.

Following many successful seasons with KTM, the team jumped across to Kawasaki at the beginning of the year. The Maxxis British Championship title that they claimed with Steven Lenoir, who sadly passed away in a tragic accident earlier this year, was undoubtedly their proudest moment, but they also achieved many goals with different riders through the years. Liam Knight and Taylor Hammal have progressed with guidance from the team and made their presence known on the domestic scene.

Liam Knight has been pictured riding a KTM recently, but it remains to be seen if he’ll have backing from a team next year. We’ll have more on his plans in the coming days.
