The final round of 2020 Monster Energy Supercross, Salt Lake City 7, is currently being run within the walls of Rice Eccles Stadium. The track has changed completely for the grand finale, and lap times are even a bit longer than they have been recently. It is quite a busy layout, with a lot of shorter straights, so the championship-deciding races should be memorable affairs. How did the track shape up in qualifying this morning though?
Ken Roczen bolted on a GoPro to take everyone for a lap inside of Rice Eccles Stadium one last time. It’s great to see that moisture in the dirt, as dust did become a problem the last time that the series followed this earlier schedule (that being SLC 1). Roczen was actually eleventh in premier-class qualifying earlier today. Full results from those sessions are available elsewhere on MX Vice. First though, watch that GoPro footage below.
