When the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series fired into life, there was one very fast rider left without a deal. Cameron McAdoo signed a fill-in deal with the Geico Honda squad for the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross, and even landed on the podium for the first time in his career, but did not have a seat when that series ended and was forced to wait for a new opportunity to arise. Three weeks on, a deal with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM outfit has presented itself. McAdoo made the announcement on his social-media channels.
“New look! Excited, and thankful, for the opportunity to join the @TLD_RaceTeam. Let’s go racing!”
Cameron McAdoo competed in the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series with GEICO Honda and had a season-best moto finish of fifth in moto two at Unadilla. Fifteenth was his final ranking in the championship standings, even though he skipped the first three rounds.
