Well here it is, Farliegh has come to life. Easily the biggest MX event in the world being held this weekend 15 minutes from MX Vice HQ. We visited the site last night and was uber impressed with everything, from the organisation through to the setup with many people with a beer and a big smile.
Today we get to see some of the best riders that have ever graced our sport over the years riding around this iconic venue. One thing is true, Farleigh Hungerford is one of the most famous Motocross Tracks in the world.
Lets go Racing 🙂 Pics, Interviews and bits and pieces will be up throughout the day!
Ok so I failed a little bit yesterday (Saturday) with the updates..
Ron Lechien had a huge ‘off’ in the woods, thankfully he was ok and in one piece..his bike wasn’t. MX Vice’s vey own Jeff Perrett had 2 great rides coming back from 54th in both races to 20th and 17th (I think) respectively.
The big talking point was Ryno Hughes.. Took the lead from De Witt only to drop the bike 2 laps from the end. Ryno 7 seconds back, chased De Witt down and took him on the line to take the win..the Farleigh crowd went crazy, proper Goosebump stuff.
