WILVO FORKRENT KTM NOMINATES HELP FOR HEROES

For the 2014 season, Wilvo Forkrent KTM is delighted to announce its nominated charity; Help for Heroes, which supports wounded service personnel and their families.

Help for Heroes offers comprehensive support to servicemen, women and veterans who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses whilst serving our country. This is provided through grants to individuals, other Service charities, capital build projects and four Recovery Centres across the UK which will offer support for life.

The charity inspires and enables those who have made sacrifices on the country’s behalf to achieve their full potential beyond injury.

The Wilvo Forkrent KTM team will be launching its support on Sunday 6 April at the second round of the MAXXIS ACU British Motocross Championship at Lyng in Norfolk.

The team’s appeal will last throughout the 2014 Motocross season and will aim to raise as much money as possible through the donation page for fans, friends and sponsors:  www.bmycharity.com/WilvoForkrentKTMTeam

Commenting on the nomination partnership, Steve Turner, Owner and Team Manager said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Help for Heroes. With the support of our sponsors, fans and friends of the team we will be aiming to promote the charity and engage as many people as we can to support such a worthy cause at this crucial time.”

Bryn Parry CEO and Co-Founder of Help for Heroes said: “We thank Wilvo Forkent KTM for choosing Help for Heroes to be their nominated charity. As we draw down from Afghanistan it is more important than ever to show our lasting support. Soldiers, sailors and airmen who are injured today will still need our help tomorrow and in the days that follow, for the rest of their lives. They are still battling and with your support we won’t let them battle alone.”
