Information

– The weather is going to be great this weekend, just as you would expect. Temperatures will soar to around thirty degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Keep an eye on the wind though, as it is expected to pick up as the weekend progresses and could cause some issues.

– We are seven hours behind the United Kingdom (and eight behind mainland Europe) currently, but that is all going to change on Saturday night! The clocks will change in Mexico at that point and we will then be just six hours behind the UK (and seven behind the rest of Europe). Don’t worry too much though, as the times on MXGP-TV have already been adjusted accordingly.

– You, the fans, can feel more immersed in the action this year, thanks to Fox MX Manager. The fantasy game, which is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time, allows you to be a team manager and sign riders that fit into your large budget. Great prizes are available at each stop, like signed jerseys and tickets to the Motocross of Nations! You will also find a guide to round four of the game here.

– How can you watch the action as it happens this year? A comprehensive television guide will be available soon, but MXGP-TV is a great alternative. The online system, which requires you to pay a small fee, also streams the qualifying races each week. It is also worth checking out the MXGP-TV YouTube channel, we believe.

– Hey, we are back! After missing the Grand Prix of Patagonia-Argentina, the full MX Vice team are present in Mexico and ready to provide interviews, updates, photos, videos, interview, opinions and much more! Stay tuned to this very site throughout the weekend.

– Injuries have hit MXGP over the last two weeks, so it is important that you visit this link in order to find out who is currently sat on the sidelines. The report features extensive updates on all injured riders.

– What’s the circuit like in Mexico? What are conditions like? We have put an abundance of thoughts and observations into our pre-race report, which you’ll find on this link. Happy reading!

//PEARCY Stats Preview MXGP Intu Xanadu-Arroyomolinos

Published

Once again, our resident stats guru, Paul Pearcy, provides a breakdown of the MX2 class going into Intu Xanadu. Famed more for its access to a shopping mall and McDonald’s than actual passing, the MX2 contenders will be looking to make their mark. Last year, Simon Laengenfelder reigned supreme and was unstoppable on Sunday, with no rider able to match his pace. If you were a betting man, who would be your winner?
