A mystery is solved! It was confirmed that Evgeny Bobryshev would not return to PAR Homes Husqvarna (RFX is no longer a title sponsor) for this year, so there was a lot of discussion about what his future would look like. MX Vice editor Lewis Phillips even ran this interview with Bobryshev, where he explained that he was looking to get into the USA or race in Germany. Now, however, he has confirmed to MX Vice that he’ll remain with PAR Homes.
The deal will include the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship and Michelin MX Nationals, but no rounds of the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship. When asked if there was a chance that he would make it into some rounds, Bobryshev said not at the moment. One would think that if Josh Gilbert, the rider who will be taken to Grands Prix, gets injured then Bobryshev would step in. Gilbert’s the only rider down to compete in the premier class at the highest level.
PAR Homes Husqvarna will now consist of Evgeny Bobryshev, Josh Gilbert, Florian Miot, Calum Mitchell, Syd Puutnam and Charlie Putnam.
