MXoN Help: Team Ireland

Ireland were the first nation to confirm their team for the Motocross of Nations, so that they could push forward with fundraising plans. Much like Team Switzerland, who finished fifth last year, Ireland have set up a crowdfunding campaign in an effort to ensure that they can put their best foot forward.

Ireland are not hoping for as much as Switzerland, as their goal is ten thousand euros. Almost ten percent of that has been raised in thirteen days. Graeme Irwin (MXGP), Martin Barr (MX2) and Stuart Edmonds (Open) will unsurprisingly represent the Irish in the United States in a little less than two months. Ireland ended fifteenth last year, despite the fact that none of their riders cracked the top twenty in the motos, but should be able to improve on that at RedBud, especially considering that nations like Denmark are not making the trip.
