The first day of racing at the Motocross of Nations is underway. The various team managers and riders gathered in the media centre this morning, as the ballot to determine gate position was held. This will apply in the three qualifying heats, which will run just after midday, on a start straight that is rather fair. Being on the far outside is obviously a large disadvantage, but it could be much worse. Anyway, without further ado, the gate positions are below.
