Dyer and Butler KTM’S Liam Knight proved he’s on top at this weekend’s Red Bull Pro Nationals at Hawkstone.
Riding in the Rookies class Liam Knight started the weekend with a bang. A good start put him in a great position where he was able to slip in to his usual smooth style and finish 3rd.
Liam faltered slightly in the second race of the day, with him having to work hard to push himself right to the end, eventually crossing the line in 7th.
Another great performance in the first race of the Sunday saw Liam battling with the lead pack. Without getting flustered he met the chequered flag in the top 5.
A 3rd in moto 4 saw Knights last race mirror his first with an impressive start he was able to control his pace and concentrate on finding the smoothest of lines Giving him a an overall result of 3rd and a great podium for Dyer and Butler KTM .
After putting in a time of 2:21:7 in qualifying Jamie law had 9th pick of the gate in the first Moto of the Pro Nationals. After the first lap Jamie was just behind the lead pack, from there he worked hard to push himself back through the group to cross the line, 6th in the mx1.
Race 2 and 3 were hard work, with Jamie lacking in energy he found himself struggling mid pack. Digging deep he managed to hold on and finishing 9th mx1 for both races.
Jamie will be glad to see the back of this weekend. With the day spent struggling with illness he managed to salvage enough points to remain in contention. A 5th overall for the day now means he sits just behind 3rd in the championship. Team Dyer and Butler can now look forward to the final round where it really is all to play for.
