Northern Islands Graeme Irwin has finalised his plans for 2014 and re-signed to stay with the Heads & All Threads Suzuki Team for next season aboard the RM-Z450 Suzuki in MX1
It hasn’t been a great season for Irwin aboard the RM-Z250 in the MX2 class but he has showed what he is truly capable of after making the move to the bigger RM-Z450 with a second overall at the recent Red Bull Pro National at Hawkstone Park.
After turning heads at Hawkstone, some other top teams put some offers on the table, but Irwin took careful thought and decided to remain with Neil Prince and the Heads and All Threads Suzuki in 2014.
“I had offers from other top teams but I’m really happy Heads & All Threads Suzuki wanted to keep me. I weighed up my options and decided this was best to put me in a position to win a championship next year. I work well with Neil and we work well together. It’s a real family atmosphere there, so if something’s not broke, why change it?“
Team Manager, and Irwins mechanic, Neil Prince added;
“I’m just super stoked really to have Graeme on board for 2014. We work well together and I think we’re in a great position to take a championship win next year. We will obviously be competing in the British and Red Bull again along with some other major UK events.”
