Off Road racers can try something new in 2012 and brush off those racing cobwebs and give Dirt Track Cross a go at British Dirt Tracks Hangover Fun event at Hayley Stadium, Newport on Sunday 22nd January.
Dirt Track Cross is a new discipline which takes in the shale speedway circuit and then heads into the infield for right and left hand bends, and small jumps in sprint races. These races are only 4 laps so pretty fraught and action packed with plenty of racing during the day. These events are great for racers of all abilities and very competitive for the quicker guys.
Classes include:
Open MX, QRA Adult and Elite Youth (200/250)Quads, and Mini Bikes with a full day of action for all abilities in the confines of the stadium with car park, enclosed bar and refreshments. There is also a class for Dirt Track Solos who will race on the speedway track only.

The next of these events will be on the 12th February again at Newport, which will be the first round of the British Dirt Track Cross Championships which will be run over 3 rounds in 2012. This discipline will also be one of the 5 that is part of the brand new No 1 Plate multi Discipline race series we are running which takes in MX, Beach Cross, Cross Country, Dirt Track and Dirt Track Cross.
